Primula was the creation of the glass pioneer, Jacob E. Bang. Its 2018 relaunch has made it a modern classic for contemporary interiors. The oval Primula vase is inspired by the original vase, but has been renewed and restyled in line with today’s fashion. The optical glass stripes give the vase a unique effect and lightness that blend in perfectly with Nordic living and modern maximalism – and the reinvention of Primula continues with new shapes and colours.
Today, the vase is regarded not just as a container for flowers, but as an interior object in its own right. This is especially true when it comes to the colour universe. Coloured-glass vases make a huge stylistic impact in any home. With the new ‘Amber’ glass option, which is available either as a round or oval vase, Primula reflects the latest Pantone trend of yellow, orange and burnt shades. The warm, amber-yellow shade is also perfect in terms of glass design. The Primula glass stripes glow like a little sun when light catches the vase, providing a designer touch of summer far into the autumn.

The Perfection range, designed by Tom Nybroe, has been expanded with a new spirit glass. The tulip shape of the glass makes it easy to hold when the contents need to be gently warmed up, while the narrowing at the top of the glass helps to retain the aroma of the spirit. The slim line makes it easy to pour the correct quantity of spirit into the glass. The glass can contain 5.0 cl.

The Fairytales range consists of Christmas trees in four different sizes and a couple of pixies – all featuring optical grooves and hand-painted gold decoration, and with a naive DNA that will look great in any modern interior, in which touches of quirky design will create a personal, curated atmosphere.
With their different heights, together the Fairytales trees create an atmospheric Christmas forest. But a single tree also makes an impact as a decorative glass object with its optical grooves and layered shape. The Fairytales trees also make a perfect landscape for the range’s pixie couple with their gold faces and curved cone bodies. Every year, you can turn your family’s traditions and Christmas rituals into new scenarios on the window ledge or dinner table with flickering candles and nature’s own decoration.

For many years, Ann-Sofi Romme has been designing beautiful, classic Christmas decorations for Holmegaard. Ann-Sofi Romme studied Ceramic Design at Design School Kolding and throughout her career has worked on jewellery, glass and porcelain.
This year, Ann-Sofi Romme’s decoration is a snowflake, inspired by paper Christmas ornaments and flowers. The little hearts and green and red berries lend a charmingly delicate expression. The large bell is perfect for decorating a window at Christmas time. It refers to the story behind the Christmas series, which Ann-Sofi Romme started back in 1993 with a Christmas bell for Holmegaard. The bell originates from Ann-Sofi’s earlier glass range, Eclair (1987), in which she developed the shape for a Christmas ornament. It is one of Holmegaard’s Christmas classics, and this year features a special decoration.
